In Rantepao we first came to a homestay were we stayed for 3 nights and after the first night we rested and stayed at home, the second day we went on a trip to the cave of graves wich was a cave filed with skulls, wich was wery big and slippery, there was also a plant wich only grows in ancient soil and is being more and more destroyd by the people who just walk in without a gide.
The next day we went to see a funeral wich involved a lot of killing and they slauthered a large amount of pigs and one bull, it was a blody funeral,it's like that because their religion and mostly the culture say that they will go to heaven but in the way there they have to be acompanied by at least one bull and in the way there they also need food wich is the pigs, and the antisocial people cant do the ceremony because they have no friends who will do it for them and stay on earth forever.
THe cows and pigs cost a lot of money a albino bull for example costs arround 35k a normal bull 3-5k and that in euros so if they cant pay the funeral then they go outside of toraja to find a better job and come bake once they have enough money to buy a funeral.
